This immersive experience ignited her interest in the intersection of environmental consciousness and everyday choices.

LAUREN SCHMIDT

Editor

Lauren is a fourth-year Journalism Studies student at the University of Denver with a long-held love for fashion and style. When she’s not spending hours adding to her endless Pinterest boards, she’s often found combing the racks at her favorite Arc store or weaving through the many vintage stores along Broadway. Lauren believes that fashion is a powerful outlet for self expression and creativity, and finds importance in carrying this out through taking action in sustainability. Understanding the climate and wanting to make a genuine difference is not just important to her, but her generation.

EDEN BOLLSCHWEILER

Editor

As a Denver newcomer, Eden learned that thrifting in a new place is harder than it looks. That’s why she and her co-founders, Lauren and Lillian, started Denver Thrifts.  Eden thinks that clothes should be something that brings excitement and joy to people’s lives and thinks that thrifting is the way to do it. Ever since she started thriting in high school, she has been obsessed with secondhand finds. Her closet and bank accounts, on the otherhand, might not be too happy with all the extra clothes.
